Meet Krista! A Registered Nurse that has been with Azar Plastic Surgery and Med Spa for 7 years specializing in injectables, lasers, micro-needling, post-op care, and more. She earned her first Bachelor's degree in Psychology before pursuing a second Bachelor's in Nursing from California State University, Northridge, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Krista began her career as an orthopedic and medical/surgical nurse at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. However, Kristas passion for plastic surgery and the aesthetic field landed her at Dr. Azars office. She truly enjoys helping others and finds it important for patients to feel and look their absolute best and feel confident in their skin. Outside of the office, Krista is an avid lover of action sports and the outdoors, enjoying activities like stand-up paddle boarding, wake surfing, and snowboarding.

Nicole Hirschman

Medical Esthetician

Nicole has worked extensively with dermatologists to understand the best way to treat a variety of skin conditions. With an emphasis on meticulous care and personalized attention, she customizes each facial to suit clients’ needs and preferences. She targets your skincare goals and promotes a healthy, young-looking complexion. Nicole incorporates cutting-edge technology into your treatments such as derma-exfoliation, chemical peels, oxygen, LED light, and microcurrent. She is known for her detailed extractions and personal attention to each client’s needs. Nicole’s cutting edge treatments will truly change the way you look at skincare. On her downtime she enjoys being with her family and friends, running, hiking, and giving back to the community through various charity organizations.

Vanessa Self

Patient Care Coordinator

Vanessa has been in the medical profession for over 30 years and has been a part of the team for over 9 years now. You will meet Vanessa during your initial consultation with Dr. Azar. She will discuss your plastic surgery needs, priorities and help you arrange whatever help you need at home to make your procedure or surgery a pleasant experience.

She will also be your point of contact throughout your care for any non-medical issues such as fees, scheduling, travel arrangements and so on. Vanessa has also experienced Dr. Azar’s care personally as she has undergone his SmartSkin C02 laser, BOTOX® Cosmetic, and JUVÉDERM® treatments. She is happy to discuss her personal experiences with you. It is very important to her that you feel special and well taken care of during your initial visit and through your surgery experience. During Vanessa’s free time she enjoys spending time with her family, enjoys live music, the beach and visiting local wineries. Morgan Roos

Business Development Manager

Morgan received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. She previously worked at a surgical hospital, where she led the admitting department for almost 7 years. Morgan has always had a passion for medicine, and she is excellent with patient interactions always making patients feel at ease when they express their concerns. Morgan’s natural positivity and her efficiency adds to our team at Azar Plastic Surgery and Med Spa. Her friendly face greets all of our patients with a warm smile and she genuinely cares for each individual patient that walks through our front door. Outside the office Morgan loves to hike and explore the outdoors, play soccer, and enjoys live music with friends and family.

Jordan Stewart, RN BSN

Registered Nurse

Meet Jordan! A Registered Nurse with a B.S. in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, Jordan was born and raised in the beautiful Conejo Valley and is a proud Thousand Oaks High School alum. In 2019, she started her nursing career at Los Robles Hospital on the surgical floor, providing top-notch care for patients recovering from extensive surgeries. But that's just the beginning of her journey! In 2020, Jordan followed her passion for cosmetic procedures and joined Dr. Azar’s amazing team. Specializing in laser therapies, Botox and filler injections, and microneedling, Jordan’s all about helping her patients rejuvenate their skin and boost their confidence! Whether you're looking to refresh your look or try something new, Jordan's here to help you feel your best! When she's not in the office, you can find her running, paddleboarding, camping, or hanging out with friends and family.

Courtney Jansen

Front Office Coordinator

Courtney is likely the first person you will come into contact with at Azar Plastic Surgery whether it be by phone, email, or when you visit us in person. She is passionate about patient care and customer service, which is evident when you interact with her. In our fast-paced environment, Courtney remains highly organized, and efficiently handles all of our patients’ needs. She loves being part of our patients’ transformations. On top of being the Front Desk Coordinator, she is also a licensed aesthetician and a nationally certified pharmacy technician who has worked in the aesthetic and medical fields for over 10 years.

Outside of work - Courtney enjoys spending time with her fur babies, traveling, and spending time doing things that keep her healthy, happy, and active.

Hillary Swann

Nursing Director, Surgery Center

Hillary is our caring and compassionate Director of Nursing, she received her ADN from Moorpark College and then went on to get her BSN at Cal State University Dominguez Hills graduating Magna Cum Laude. She has a passion for learning and thirst for knowledge and recently became a Board Certified Holistic Nurse. She continues her studies and hopes to always utilize her education and skills to provide the best care to her patients. In her free time she’s enjoys all things nature and adventure, from gardening to snowboarding. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends and her little Yorkie Chewy.

Ebelina Sanchez

Medical Assistant

Has been a medical assistant for 13 years. She previously worked for a general surgeon but always felt inclined to the be a part of cosmetic surgical team she joined our team in 2021. She shines and is at her best when taking care of patients. She enjoys taking the time to listen and preparing patients on their surgical journey. Ebelina is also our Coolsculpting technician she customizes treatment plans according to each patients’ goals and is always honest and works with integrity. On her downtime she enjoys her family, picnics at the beach, hiking and live music.

Sima Vahabi

Scrub Technician

Sima is a key member of our Surgical Team and the head Scrub Technician. She not only assists Dr Azar in surgery the entire time, but maintains the facility and keeps it running smoothly and well stocked. A native of Chicago, she enjoys martial arts, family time, and travel. She often greets our patients first thing in the morning and helps them throughout the day with their journey.
