McCafferty, of the Allegheny County Medical Society and vice president of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery believes she knows why the couples plastic surgery trend is on the rise. “People are living longer, working longer and want to look as good as they feel.”

In 2010, Americans spent almost $10.7 billion dollars on cosmetic procedures (both surgical and non surgical) and with some relief from the recession plus with better technology now becoming available, we should see a serious increase in these statistics.
